SG PIPESTONE

Pink Pipestone, or Catlinite, is a type of clay from quarries located and preserved in Pipestone National Monument located in Minnesota. This soft pink earth is held sacred by local Indigenous communities, and has been carved into pipes, and used as a pigment. A soft, reddish-pink, Pipestone is a very granular pigment, and can be used for full strength washes, or in subtle glazes.
