Intermediate Watercolor Journals
Over this 6-week series, we'll go beyond watercolor basics and explore what a watercolor journal can be. Art journaling frees you from chasing a "finished" piece. Instead, the page becomes a living record of experiments, mistakes, and discoveries. Letting go of the outcome is often what unlocks flow, which connects us with the joy of painting.
No two sessions of this class look the same. Alongside your usual watercolor supplies, we'll dig into liquid watercolors, white gouache, and a range of unconventional ways to fill an art journal page. Supply list
We'll work through an abstract lens throughout the series, but everything you learn — techniques, materials, mindset — transfers to any style or subject you paint.
No prior class required, but you should have a basic working knowledge of watercolor before joining.
