Creative Growth for Artists with Julie Leidner 1/5-2/23 Mondays 6-7:30pm
Whether you’re just starting to call yourself an artist or have been creating for years, this class offers a structured space to reconnect with your creative voice, clarify your goals, and build confidence in how you share your work. Each week centers on a theme many creatives grapple with, from fear and self-doubt to visibility and professional growth. You’ll read a short reading selection at home, then join an open, supportive group discussion and hands-on writing session in class. Expect self-reflection, open conversation, and light creative exercises designed to help you move past blocks and into momentum.

| Instructor Bio: | Julie Leidner is a Louisville-based artist, educator, writer, and curator with over a decade of experience supporting artists and organizations in the development and presentation of contemporary art. Her background includes serving as lead designer and faculty coach for the BFA Senior Thesis Program at KyCAD, co-facilitating Indiana’s statewide On-Ramp Artist Professional Development Workshop, directing large-scale exhibitions and public programs at the Carnegie Center for Art & History, designing curricula as Artist-In-Residence at Francis Parker High School, running the experimental gallery Sheherazade, and leading community-centered art workshops and programs for teens and adults.
