Abstract Watercolors: Landscapes with Jessica Olberz Singleton 1/24 Saturday 10-1pm
Working with a set of basic guidelines you will create a number of abstract landscapes during this workshop. We will play with adding metallic paints to give our creations a magical, otherworldly feel. Using strong horizontal elements and color and value choices, landscapes appear in what is otherwise and entirely abstract painting. You may feel as though you are looking at clouds, across mountains or fields, all without ever needing a photo reference.
All levels are welcome. This class has the structure and guidance for anyone new to the process or materials, as well as room to explore.
