Intermediate Watercolors with Teresa Koester 1/6-2/10 Tuesdays 6-8pm

Intermediate watercolor builds on beginning watercolor concepts, both technical and compositional. This level explores color theory, compositional layout concepts, and fine tuning application techniques of wet into wet, wet on dry, layering, and masking. Students may work with either pan or tube sets. Students will be encouraged in their own style, and individualized instruction will assist students to develop their creative authenticity. Experimental applications of paint will play a role. Having a fundamental knowledge of watercolor and drawing is suggested before taking this course.
