Watercolor Foundations: Color Schemes with Jessica Olberz Singleton 9/10-10/15 Wednesdays 10-12pm

Watercolor Foundations: Color Schemes During this class we will expand our understanding and applied use of color through watercolor exercises and painting practices designed for all levels. Moving beyond basic color wheel theory, we’ll learn a rich variety of dynamic color relationships. Beginning with fundamentals such as complementary, analogous, and monochromatic, we will create and use color palettes that are progressively sophisticated and uniquely yours throughout this six-week course.

This six-week journey is perfect for anyone making muddy paintings, looking for ways to get out of color habits or ruts, or wanting to expand their watercolor practice.

Watercolor Foundations is an ongoing series of classes for students of all levels wanting to learn, practice and play with watercolors. There are three six-week sessions: Elements of Art, Color Schemes, and Composition. Classes use abstract exercises that can be applied to any painting style.
