 What makes art interesting? This six week course dives into the conceptual aspects of creating captivating art, like variety, emphasis, movement, and balance. Exploring the principles of art and design through a combination of lecture, visual examples, and practice will leave you with information and experience to begin seeing and creating art in new ways. 


Made for absolute beginners and seasoned students alike, this class pairs well with the other Art for Non-Artist series, The Elements of Design. Keep your eyes open for this six week class which gives you a deeper understanding of the fundamental building blocks of art such as line, shape, color, and space.
