Kids: Art Explorers: Ages 3-6 with Victoria Whitaker 4/22-5/27 Tuesdays from 1-2:30pm
This multisession class is intended to introduce new art materials and techniques to preschoolers while strengthening fine motor skills, increasing vocabulary, and encouraging curiosity. Each class will begin and end with a circle time to give the children a familiar structured routine.
Important!
Often preschool age children are unfamiliar with leaving their caregivers and going into a group setting. For this reason, the first class of this session is a hour long meet and greet orientation which caregivers need to attend. Children will have a chance to familiarize themselves with the classroom and learn where essentials features, such as the restroom, are located. If this is your child’s first experience leaving you and going into a class, you are welcome to help your child transition to independence by attending the class beyond the orientation until you are both comfortable separating.
