First Impressions with Catherine Bryant
A fast paced 4 hour class. Join prominent Louisville Artist, Catherine Bryant, as she shares how she created this month's Impressionistic landscape, step by step. You will learn the basics for creating a landscape & take your masterpiece home. Bring you own palette carrier to take your palette home!

Joy of Landscape with Catherine Bryant
Emphasis on Plein Air and painting from life. Continuing the study of composition, values, simplicity, brush strokes, mixing color, dealing with edges, color & line relationships, visual weight, atmospheric perspective and more, plus a 15 page booklet. This is a fun, Impressionist centered class with much discussion and exercises designed to move the student to higher levels of skill and creativity. 

Bob Ross Painting with Ken Wuetcher
Learn to paint beautiful landscapes using the Bob Ross Technique. A step by step process will be used by Ken Wuetcher, a certified Bob Ross Instructor. Beginners and experienced painters are welcome!

Practicing Watercolor with Kathy Lepley
In this class you'll practice and master watercolor techniques, making this "tricky" medium easy and fun. Develop your artistic style while you learn how to mix pigments, create light and shadow, and explore new ways to see your subject.

Brush Lettering with Christine Shaw
Using a variety of brush pens and markers, you will learn a casual brush lettering style useful for cards, journaling, adding lettering to crafts and more! You'll also learn some tips and tricks to make your lettering pop off the page, how to blend colors, make backgrounds and more. This class is for beginners - no experience neccesary!

Bring your own supplies and work on your art in the company of fellow artists in our studio. No instructor.

Drawing Studio with Jeremy Miller
Come and explore drawing in this open format studio! For all drawing media & subject matter; draw at your own pace with instructor guidance & critique, as well as the company of other artists! Three hour class with optional still life provided.

Intro to Drawing (B) with Jeremy Miller
Continue learning how to draw in part two of the intro class! Picking up after the "line drawing" classes, we now delve into the topics of: shading, color theory, and how to compose the image! With 3 more "Studio Days"!

Intro to Acrylics with Teresa Koester
This course will go over the fundamentals of acrylic painting from wash layer to glazing, color mixing and theory, and experimental applications. Creative responsive painting will be incorporated into each project with individualized instruction to meet the student at whatever experience level they may be. Subjects may include: still-life observation, painting from personal photos, prompts and memory. Approximately three paintings will be completed.

Altered Books with Ehren Reed
This workshop will explore a variety of construction, deconstruction, and manipulation techniques to transform old books into unique works of art. Participants are encouraged to bring assorted ephemera: photographs, sewing notions, stamps, etc., to incorporate into their work. Basic supplies included.

Stained Glass with Lori Jones
In this exposure to Stained Glass, each student will experience every step of creating a stained glass piece; from cutting glass, to grinding, to soldering. Every student will go home with a completed suncatcher.

Drawing in Perspective with Maizie Clarke
In this two day workshop, you'll learn all the basics to accurately draw in three dimensions using one-point and two-point perspective. Basic drawing skills recommended.
